What’s the harm in that?
Well, first of all, you’re probably not going to win any of those other contests. You’re just wasting your time. But more importantly, by providing your personal information, you’ve now given scammers everything they need to commit identity theft. They can use your email address to spam you with more offers and phishing scams, and they can use your name and other information to open new accounts in your name and rack up debts that you’ll have to pay for.
